How Much Do You Spend On Closing Gifts
Fellow agents.
Do you buy closing gifts for your buyers/sellers?
How much do you spend on said gifts?
A good bottle of wine or two is always a great way to break in a new home. Plus you can call them when they area bottle deep and ask for some personal referrals!
I usually keep it around $100. Try to tailor it to the client as much as possible.
Please don't give a knife with your face on it :(

Agreed with @Gregory Schwartz, the gifts with a personal touch are the most memorable.
Gifts related to their hobbies/interests are the best.
I typically land at $50-200.
I work with a lot of clients who buy properties that need work, so I usually throw in a Home Depot gift card with a handwritten note.
All the best!

@Calvin Hayward It totally depends on the client. How good were they to work with? Are they repeat clients? Have they referred you a bunch? What was the commission on the sale?
I've spent anywhere from $30 to $250 and it all depended on the things listed above. Take some time to make it personal though!
I helped a young kid purchase a 4-unit he was going to house hack and manage, so I got him a nice Dewalt drill set.
I helped a lady purchase her first home, and every house we saw that needed some work she would respond, "Mike can fix that" (her boyfriend). So, I had a local shop make her several home decor items, and one of them was a nice mug that read, "Mike can fix that". I know, cheesy, BUT personal.
Hope this helps.
Are you asking about all buyers/sellers or just investors?
Either way, I suppose it's a good idea.
I haven't yet, but my next deal, I think I will get my investors a wood etching of their home (based on the photography) and maybe "My First Flip" or maybe the sale $ or something investor-y. Something to remember their successes.
Real estate agents frequently provide closing presents to purchasers and vendors as a signal of gratitude and celebration of a thriving deal. The sum spent on these presents can fluctuate depending on the broker's budget, deal value, and individual tastes. Typical present varieties involve personalized items, helpful items, and encounters. The budget for closing presents can differ, depending on the broker's budget, client tastes, local practices, branding, and timing of presentation. The determination of whether to provide closing presents and how much to spend relies on the agent's business strategy, budget, client connection, and local customs.
Good luck!

@Calvin Hayward I have never received a present upon closing from my agent. However I have given him presents as thanks and buy him a Christmas gift every year.
