Learning the ropes

Edwin Correa
Posted

Hey folks,

As a newly licensed real estate agent eager to venture into house flipping and long-term rentals, I'm contemplating positioning myself as an investor-friendly agent. There are a couple of reasons behind this inclination: firstly, I'm drawn to the intricacies of data analysis and crunching numbers inherent in the investment process. Secondly, I see assisting other investors as a fantastic opportunity to glean insights and prepare myself for my own ventures.

For those seasoned in this realm, I'm reaching out for your wisdom. What advice would you offer to help me achieve my dual objectives? Specifically, how can I establish myself as a go-to investor-friendly agent, and what steps can I take to efficiently learn the ins and outs of real estate investment? Should I continue the traditional agency road map or am I missing some other strategy that might help get the knowledge and experience needed to meet both objectives?

Looking forward to soaking up your invaluable advice!

Warm regards,
