Becoming a Real Estate Agent

Is anyone currently in the process of becoming a real estate agent or just recently finished in the Columbus, Ohio area?

I recently purchased my own home and am drawn to the industry. I have a career in the public sector but would like to start working on alternative forms of income whether that is through acquiring properties to rent or becoming a real estate agent…something I can do on the side and ensure income for my future.

I’m currently in the public service field and am naturally drawn to helping people out and helping people level up in their lives. So many of my friends are struggling through the home buying process. I’d like to contribute to making people’s dreams come true.

I’m looking for someone who’s brain I can pick about getting started. Which schools offer good licensing courses, how to find a sponsoring broker and what to look for, getting started as a real estate agent etc.
