Why Don't Real Estate Agents Want to Work Together

Hi Everyone, I started working as a real estate agent a few months ago. I have been making a lot of calls and I was excited to collaborate with real estate agents from other brokerages. My brokerage is non-traditional and we only sell investment properties. We offer the ability for other agents to add their commission to our deals if they find a buyer. I know there are a lot of agents who are searching for properties for their clients, and I have off-market inventory they won't find on the MLS. I was very surprised when I found that a lot of agents didn't want to work together. I feel like I am meeting a need of theirs, and there is opportunity for both of us to make a sale and satisfy our clients needs. It's a win-win. I can see financing being a hurdle for properties sold as-is, but there are so many cash buyers out there too. I am wondering why so many traditional agents don't want to work with agents who are wholesaling properties.
