Seeking BIC for SC Real Estate Salesperson License

Hello!

Recently, I completed my South Carolina Salesperson course (both I and II and passed the final exams) as well as passed the State and National Salesperson Licensing Exams. All I have left to do is file the form stating who my Broker In Charge supervising my license will be.

My current full time job will remain that way for now, as I am looking not to make real estate my full time job but instead something that allows me to manage my own investment property deals, and occasionally help friends or family purchase a home. I do not intent to chase clients, and am looking for a brokerage that will only charge me a fee per transaction instead of a monthly fee. I am also looking for MLS access.

I have reached out to about 10 local companies, and so far only one has gotten back. They only hire full time agents, but she did point me towards the Boulevard Company in Charleston. This company charges $260 to supervise your license, which is not my ideal path.

Does anyone have any advice as to how to find a good fit BIC that will work with an investment-style real estate agent? Any recommendations on brokerages is greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!!
Bri
