Just moved to southern Maryland after remodeling a house in Washington. Trying to house hack but need an agent who can get me some options. Looking for a 2-4 unit so I can keep it under a VA or conventional.

@Cody Buckingham   Trying to think of the right agent for you.  Some only work in certain price ranges and styles of house.  Also if you tell me you want to stay under $250K for example for 4 unit, that's probably a much different market than if you can spend $250K a door.   Probably much easier to make it work on a single family and rent bedrooms than multi for most people.  Chances are you won't be able to count rent from the extra units to cover the mortgage initially until there is some history there, so maybe for refinance...or if you get super lucky and they are rented with long term tenants, some lenders may allow you to qualify with 75% of current rent lets say on unit 2.
