What to do after passing real estate exam

Pam Wils
Posted

I passed my real estate exam in May.  Can’t find a willing broker to work with me part time?  What are some other options for me?

@Pam Wils I wouldn’t market yourself as a part-time broker. I got in to real estate sales with a 56 hour per week career, but sold it as a second career I was pursuing simultaneously. I have been a top producing agent several years because I understand the importance of time management. Time in the office does not equal success. I’ve also worked with an agent who markets herself as an agents agent. She does showings and meets inspectors for a fee. She gets paid whether the buyer buys or not. The upside is not as great, but the money should start flowing immediately and it’s not bad $/hour. Someone will work with you. You’re looking at the wrong places if they’re all saying no.
