Newbie- just passed my exam

Pam Wils
Posted

I just passed my exam and am looking to start part time real estate career.  Need advice on what to look for in selecting an agency to partner with and any additional tips for my journey as a newbie.  Also would like to start investing in real estate this year.  Not sure if some agencies frown on this.

Thanks!

Pam

Congrats on passing the exam.

#1.....ask to see their training room....no room, likely no training.....everyone can have online, but adults learn best in person/live.

#2....ask to see their training calendar....again..no calendar, you have to question how serious they are about training.

#3....ask what the training costs, if anything.

At Keller Williams there are plenty of investor agents...in all types of properties, from single family, to STR, to LTR, to Land, to Commerical, to Multifamily, and more. Three great books written by KW folks include Millionaire Real Estate Investor, HOLD, FLIP....great books to get a great foundation.
