Newly licensed, looking for a brokerage with resi/commercial

Robert Allen Lin
Posted

Hi,

Currently looking for a brokerage that offers both residential and commercial exposure. A couple have reached out, and planning to meet with Keller Williams, Remax, and City insight houston. Also open to other suggestions. Just a little background, I moved to Texas from Asia not too long ago and have begun to invest in residential real estate. Understanding the market and product on the residential side is clearly in my best interest, but I do like the non-emotional side of commercial real estate, and want to work towards putting together bigger deals in the future when I accrue more experience.

Does anyone have any experience and recommendations with regards to joining residential/commercial brokerages? If I'm more interested in training, support/education, and mentorship, what should I expect in terms of offerings? Any advice on what brokerage to join, what to expect, or general advice such as how to increase success would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
