Who's watching while you show a home?
I've written about this before, but it's always worth a reminder!
Electronic monitoring is increasingly common. You could be showing a house and the Sellers can listen to you via a laptop, a security camera, their Alexa, or other spy devices. In the article below, a Landlord didn't realize his Tenant was watching the home and he behaved badly.
Before showing a home, warn your Buyers that anything they say or do may be recorded. If you wish to have a discussion about things you wouldn't want the Seller to hear, it's best to have that conversation outside in the driveway or maybe back at the office.

Likely illegal to listen in Texas, but I'm sure it happens, and happens more frequently than we think.
So weird different peoples views on this. I couldn't care less what people say in the house.
Others can't hardly imagine not having cameras and listening devices. I'm pretty shocked in some houses that have so many cameras inside.
Seems like police don't care in some cities about burglaries and if you catch the perp on camera, they'll be in a hoodie with the face all scrunched down....like PD can do anything or will do anything with that. They'll probably encourage you to fill out online report, so they don't have to come out...and if anyone comes out to take a report, might be a day or two later, and might not even be an officer, certainly not a detective....more like a admin person.
