Looking to connect and learn with established agents

Hi my name is Doug. I fell in love with real estate investing during the pandemic and have read over 50+ books like rich dad poor dad, millionaire RE investor, Think and grow rich etc.. I am currently a junior in high school and turning 18 this summer. I have taken the first steps towards a career in real estate. Knowing how unlikely it is for me to succeed in wholesaling I turned to the sales aspect of Real Estate as I have great people skills. I met up with an established realtor in the Suburban East. He introduced me to the local Keller Williams branch and they are taking care of all my pre licensing, and training post licensure. While I will be a senior for the 2022/2023 school year most of my classes are online so I won't have to be in school most of the day. Hoping to dedicate most of my time to learning and participating in the art of RE sales I'd love to hear some input from those who have a successful career in real estate. Be as rude or as nice as you want, I'm just trying to learn as much as I can before I get my license and have to start paying all those KW dues...

EDIT* I'm looking at a agent as a way to build up capital and to gain connections in the industry. Long term goal is to invest in rental's until I can afford to make investing my full time job.
