Hey Everyone! I just wanted to do a quick post to see which areas are everyone's personal favorites for "up and coming" areas here in San Diego. Just make a list of your top areas, you can also add some explanations if you would like. I will go first...

1. El Cerrito (quick access to 8 and 805 freeways, just West of SDSU, diverse neighborhoods, commercial district with numerous amenities)
2. South Park (excellent local bars/restaurants/boutiques, short ride away from all the mainstream parts of downtown)
3. La Mesa (15+ parks and GREAT for hikers, unique style and character to the neighborhood, cool bars/restaurants that are exclusive to La Mesa)
4. North Park (perfect spot for someone with an active social life, extremely pedestrian friendly, constantly growing)
5. Normal Heights (arguably the most diverse neighborhood in SD, numerous festivals throughout the year)
