how to become foreclosure agent.

hello my name is James i am a new agent out of long island ny . Have a question how does an agent beecome a foreclosure agent ? ive dealt with the process before as a wholesaler and thru working at my brokerage , but i want to list the foreclosed properties that Banks have , Any suggestions on how to start?

#1 Are there foreclosures in your area?   In my market foreclosure market is very very thin.

#2 If there are foreclosures, start making contacts with foreclosure attorneys, substitute trustees, asset managers, disposition managers.

#3 Attend 5 star conference in Dallas in September 2022....whole industry is there and you start networking and taking classes.

#4 If your broker is HUD certified, sign up to take HUD listings.

#5 Hang out at the foreclosure auctions so that trustees see you, know you, trust you, and help buyers connect with them.
