Real Estate Mentor
Hello Everyone,
My name is Jay and I am a newbie. I am looking for a Real estate mentor in the Woodbridge Virginia area. I am motivated and a self starter. Willing to work for free including weekends. I want to learn as to what it takes to be successful in the chosen field.

No offense (and I could be wrong), but the way you said that (and the fact that you've only been a member since yesterday) leads me to believe that you didn't really spend much time listening to the podcasts, reading the blog or reading through old threads.
You will likely find it a lot more easy to find a mentor if you have a good base of knowledge and the mentor has confidence that you've worked hard to learn as much as possible before asking someone to spend time helping you. I've mentored several up-and-coming investors, and the one thing they all had in common is that they didn't really need me, because they had spent months reading, studying and preparing before I ever met them. That preparation was a win/win on both sides -- they didn't waste my time (and I knew they were serious) and I didn't have to work too hard to ensure they were successful (and then I got lots of credit :).
If I'm wrong and you've been reading and studying for month, I apologize. But, if I'm right and you're just checking out BP for the first time over the past day or two, I'd recommend spending a good bit of time coming up to speed.
