Need guidance and advice with LLC or NOT - Currently own 2 in MA

Posted

I currently have 5 keys (2 multi) in MA and just created an LLC (second multi-purchase was on 10/17 and LLC was created on 11/5). I have not set up my tenant's W9's in my LLC yet nor have I set up my insurance under my LLC. My mortgages are under my personal name and know that if I refinance under my LLC, I could get sued. I have heard how expensive LLC's can get with respect to each property under its own LLC name while maintaining that LLC. I understand the liability part of the LLC too. What would the BiggerPockets community recommend to a Real Estate investor newbie who is trying to do this the right way but also in a frugal and inexpensive way? Hopefully, this wasn't too confusing!
