Hard Money Lender GC License Requirements

Hey everyone,

I'm currently going through the financing of my first flip and I've explained through the whole process to the lender that my team and I will be doing most of the work ourselves. Of course electric and plumbing will be subbed out. We are almost to closing day and the lender seems adamant about getting GC docs like licenses and COI's. I work for a builder full time so I'm used to requesting this info but my electrician is wary about providing license info (he's had issues with fraud in the past). Have you found any way to get these requirements waived by the lender without looking like I'm doing something suspicious? Any advice helps.

Thanks,

Cole
