Partnership Structure For Large(r) Deals

Hey BP!  I have done a few deals on my own, but now I would like to partner with a couple of people I know to move on to bigger fish.    I'd like to hear how you have structured partnerships in the past when it comes to buying multifamily/commercial properties.  I'm having a hard time coming up with a value for the time and effort I put in finding the deal and doing the legwork to compare to the dollars put up by the partners.  Thanks for any insights!
