Getting started-problems focusing and creating plan
Good Morning everyone! I’m excited to start my journey in real estate investing and financial freedom. Currently, I only have my primary residence, a single family home. I have a good job and make decent money in Southern California. I am 26 years old, married with 2 children.
I am looking to purchase my first rental property in about 8-12 months( most likely out of state). Right now, I am trying to stay focused on increasing my financial literacy and learning more everyday. I am trying to form a step by step plan to help me stay on track.
I would love to hear how you guys purchased your first rental property and any tips you use to stay focus and form a plan. Thanks!

Welcome to bigger pockets! I started my journey by learning as much as I could through bigger pockets podcasts and networking with people. I also made it a habit to a analyze at least 3 deals a deal. This helped build a good sense of intuition when looking at properties.
