Getting a Loan as a 1099 Contractor
Good morning!
My husband is self employed as a pest control salesman, so we get paid as a 1099 contractor instead of receiving a W-2. Because of this, we definitely write off what we can to help lower our taxes. However, because of our write offs, we have had a hard time getting a loan for a home, even though we can afford it. Have any of you ever run into this problem and found solutions? I’ll take any advice. 😊 Thank you!
