How can I find leads in California

Hey I'm from California and seen that viral TikTok and now I'm thinking maybe ibuyers are keeping the deals for themselves..😂 I know this is a useless thought and I will still use real estate apps but I'm curious what are some more creative ways of finding deals?? Any tips or suggestions welcome, thank you!!
