Current HomeOwner best strategy to get started in REI

Hello BiggerPockets community!

I'm a homeowner and the idea of house hacking would have been great as i'm intersted in owning rental properties but with a family this is not a realistic option. For anyone whose first multifamily rental property was not a house hack and already owned their own home any advice on the best strategy to start with? I'm really interested in BRRR as I do have capital to use but wanted some first hand accounts for folks in my position. Thanks for you help in advance and good luck to everyone!
