Feeling stuck and need some creative ideas
Hey all,
Feeling a little stuck and need some creative ideas. We have been chillin with one STR and recently decided to pump up our rental business. We have a duplex under contract for a cash sale. However it is using most of our capital. This wouldn't be a problem, except now that we have started this process, deals are hitting us everywhere!
We are in a rural area so no lenders are doing hard money cash loans (so we wouldn’t tie up all our cash in this purchase). We already have maxed out our home equity on current property.
Many lenders are only lending after 6 month seasoning to do a cash recapture refinance.
What is the best way to recapture our cash fast? House doesn’t need any rehab.
I considered buying the property in personal name and doing a heloc immediately after to recapture 80%. But then it’s a variable rate mortgage and things are getting me nervous in our economy- no not sure variable is the way to go.
I guess can you tell me what your strategy was/is to recapture your cash?
