FHA loan seeking any advise.

I been looking to get into a Duplex as a first invest property and an FHA loan would be a perfect way to provide me with the finances to start BUR quickly find my self not able to qualify for the loan since i don't have the 2 years of work in a field now my wife is self employed and has more than 2 years of work history in the same field what i bring to the table is a credit score of 720.

My question is would the bank let us qualify for the loan if we go together and she brings in the 2 years of work and i bring the good credit score ? 

Any advise is good advise.
