Hi Everyone - newbie in Houston, TX still in information gathering and saving $$ stage. 

I'm curious to hear everyone's experience getting their first property - did you wait to make any move until you had a large chunk of savings to put down, did you do your best to get in quicker just using what you had, by partnering with someone else / seller financing / any other strategy?
