Advice for having to start over
I recently divorced. In the process, I lost the only two properties I owned, but I do have a good amount of capital. Unfortunately, no one will give me a loan because I have lived the last 6 years out of the country and without a W2. The banks are telling me I will have to wait 2 years before being able to obtain a loan for a property I can then rent.
Any advice on what to do with the capital in the meantime or how to otherwise put myself in the best position for success when I can finally begin buying property in 2 years?
Thank you.
