Introducing myself and a question about wholesaling

My name is Jennifer and I'm new here.  This sight is so informative and the people that post on here are amazing so thank all of you guys for that.  I do have a question, I have some properties I would like to put under contract but I haven't made my first deal yet and I'm not sure how to approach a seller and what to say.
