Is it okay to have your old tenants talk to your new ones?

Hey BP, hope you are all doing well! I recently purchased a mobile home as an investment property and there's a lot of maintenance that needs to be done throughout the year. Such as maintaining the garden, cleaning the wood stove, winterizing the windows etc. 

When I purchased the property, the previous tenants have lived there for 25+ years so they know the inns and outs of how to maintain it. These tenants have moved out now and I currently have knew ones. I have relayed best I can on what the old tenants have told me in regards to maintaining the property. However these new tenants are having a hard time understanding. 

Would you guys think its okay to have the previous tenants talk to the new ones? If so, is there anything I should be concerned about if I do this? The previous tenants would be more than happy to so.

Would love to hear your guys thoughts!

I wouldn't encourage it at all. The person who should be designating what maintenance needs to be done, when, and by whom, is you. You're the owner. All you're doing by going that route is abdicating your responsibility in favor of the previous tenant, who may or may not have been doing what needs to be done and in the right fashion.

My suggestion, if you're not familiar with what should be done, is bring someone in after the tenant has left and figure it out, then figure out who does what and let the new tenants know yourself.
