Criteria for Door Knocking Campaign

How selective are you when selecting the homes you intend on door knocking?

Do you focus on high potential like pre-foreclosures, and potentially cover a large area (multiple zip codes)?

Or is it better to hit a neighborhood you like and just filter for equity and owner occupied in PropStream? Do you have any other criteria you like to do to narrow it down, e.g. only knock on houses with visible signs of distress?

I'm leaning towards the individual neighborhood route thinking I may come across something no one else sees. But I'd be interested in hearing both sides and any tips.

Thanks in advance!
