Investors in the Wyoming/Colorado Area

Hi everyone, I don't think there are very many or any investors in the Wyoming area but I'm hoping there might be a few. Basically I was hoping to start networking with people in Wyoming and Colorado. I'm trying to get my head around the business called Real Estate and the more people I could talk to who are in the area the better. I know I'm very green in REI and I know little if anything about the ins and outs of the business.

My starting out goal is to get a VA loan and purchase a 2,3 or 4 plex in the area. I would live in one unit and rent out the others. I'm also intrigued by whole selling but not sure how to find good deals, honestly I wouldn't know a good deal if it was standing on my head. Sorry for the long winded intro but I do hope to hear from you all.
