Renovation w/o permits

I am looking to get an appraisal on my home in Los Angeles, CA but I did some work without permits. I brought down a load bearing wall that separates kitchen from living room.  Moved the gas line from the demo wall to the opposite wall, Renovated the kitchen, redid flooring, removed boiler tank from closet inside the house to garage and installed recessed lights. Many changes which lead me to my question

how is this going to affect when I try to refinance or increase appraisal for when I want to take equity out?

I am a first time home owner with little to no knowledge. Any help will be appreciated.
