Accepting furniture when out of state

Currently making plans on furnishing my STR which is out of state (I'm in NC and STR is in MT).

We are wondering what’s the best way to receive furniture (couch, beds, etc.) when we aren’t there?  Ring doorbell and Schlage lock?

We appreciate the insight.
