situation
OK, say I find a house on realtor.com I would like to put an offer on. Now seeing the numbers and knowing facts its bank owned and they are trying to sell the house for what the guy owed. The house with about $12,000 would be worth about 68,000. the house is being sold for 13,900 and I am sure they would come down a bit because its been on the market for 3 months.
my thing is before I could even submit an offer they want a copy of earnest money check and proof of funds. how the heck can people like me who dont have 14grand laying around start out with this type of situation?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
