Getting started in real estate

Hello, my name is Bob. I am looking to start investing in real estate. Strategies I am interested in are rentals and privately funded fix/flips, and possibly wholesale deals. I have read several blogs and books on real estate investing and I want to start gathering all the resources necessary: legal counsel, financing, kind of legal entity I will use. Any advice, tips, or trade “secrets” that might help me find the right formula to be successful.
