Need help on where to start

Hey I need help on where to start in real estate, I been reading books including rich dad poor dad the one book that catch my attention and motivate me on start searching on real estate, I want to know what should I do next, what should be my first step? Should I keep reading till I learn everything I need to know or should I start by buying a house and renting it? Thanks

@Dawn Anastasi is right. Also, read "Investing in Real Estate" by Eldred. Actually, read that one YESTERDAY. Most importantly, keep educating yourself, but do NOT wait until you feel like you know everything. You will never know everything, you will continue to learn and you MUST eventually pull the trigger on getting involved or you won't ever start. Continue to monitor these BP forums and ask questions. Everyone here is happy to help……..We love to brag, so leverage that fact :) There's some buzz phrase out there called "Paralysis by Analysis". It makes me cringe when I hear it, just like the words "Moist" and "Succulent", but it's true. Some people never do anything because they feel they need to be 110% sure of everything. Those people fail.
