Me and my partner are planning to invest into a multi apartment complex and to live in temporarily while renting out the rest. We're not set on the layout but that's pretty much the beginning of our plans as beginners. The reason I ask about income and if there is any other options to invest in to real estate is because we're self employed at the moment, but we are not working with the IRS until we feel ready to officially start the business.

Hey I would just like to know how did most people begin real estate. Are banks reliable sources for information or does your income affect getting loans from anywhere you try to get loans? Thanks.
