Moving cashflow from rental/ business account to personal?

Hey all! I was just curious about how or if you take your cash flow out of your rental/ business account and transfer it to your personal account. If so, are there any rules that need to be followed or is that you just paying yourself basically? Thanks for the help you're all awesome!
