New Buy and Hold Investor Wanting More Information

Hi BiggerPockets! I'm brand new to the investing sphere and have been reading several books on real estate, investing, and business, but I get the feeling that none of these books or the online sources I've looked at (except BiggerPockets) actually go into the nitty gritty details. I feel like there are huge chunks I'm missing, but I'm not even sure what the right questions to ask are. I get the general overview of how to find a property, how a deal goes down and how to get tenants in there, but I still feel completely clueless. I figured the best way to learn would be to those with experience here on BiggerPockets. Maybe someone on here can point me toward some more comprehensive material or be willing to have a more in depth conversation about how they managed to get their investments off the ground.

Thanks in advance BP community!
