Just learning wholesaling

Good evening, 

I am, in short, terrified at what I am looking at in Milwaukee WI. I'm part of a few large Facebook groups for Wholesaling and asked if there are investors looking to purchase in the area with zero response. I don't know if this area has the right market, or is it that it's not being marketed correctly? Do we just need the right folks out there pushing these properties? 

I do not know WHO to talk to regarding all of this, I've got some great podcasts I've listened to, some blogs I've read, but nothing (obviously) specific to my area, which terrifies me. 

Is ANYONE wholesaling or investing in the Milwaukee Area? I don't want to waste my, or anyone else time.
