Trouble with understanding finances/financing

I really want to jump in and acquire my first property. I feel like I'm ready, but also I have a lot of fear of messing up terribly. Most of my fear is coming from the fact that I don't understand the finances enough, or the best way for me to finance my deals. Are there any good books that give in-depth details on how to finance deals and even creative financing? If anyone has had the same problem and has overcome it, please let me know your tips.
