Starting Out - Need General Advice

Hello, all. I am a nineteen year old college student from Illinois majoring in English education. I enjoy English and teaching others, but the income is abysmal. I decided to go to a community college for the first two years (I am on my second), which was smart, but will still be around 30k student loan debt by the time I graduate. How destructive is that to my career as a real estate investor? I plan to become a real estate agent part-time, and then eventually full. My drive to succeed genuinely frightens me; I will legitimately work 100 hour weeks (not as a teacher, obviously, but for fixing up houses or whatever. Or a part time job (once I graduate college)).

To recap this ramble: Is going to college a terrible idea? Is my financial future at stake? If anyone wants to make a connection with me, I will, in the future (or the present if the stars align) work till my hands bleed. So, please somehow connect with me. One last thing, does anyone have any recommendations for me on how to build a strong financial future while still attending college?

Thanks all, and genuine best wishes for your current and future financial and life success,

William M Banks, 2021
