To late for the game?

Alex Castle
Posted

In my 40's, sick of seeing everyone else making money and living life while I'm living on welfare. Is it too late? Not sure. I live in a town of 50,000. New homes are going up, lots of deals happening in a tightly controlled market. How do I get started with no money, bad credit, and nearly crippling social anxiety? I really hate talking to people but it's a necessity in real estate. I'm not looking to be the next Grant Cardone, but even doing a few deals would greatly improve my economic situation. I don't even know what a good deal would look like but I'm sure they're out there, and near me here in Nebraska.

Hi @Alex Castle,

The answer to your first question is no, it's never too late to start in RE. Start researching and educating yourself as much as possible. Also networking will be huge in starting you RE career. I understand that you have social anxiety and at time can be overwhelming. If it makes you feel any better most of the BP community are awesome so you can start there. Look for local meetups around your area and meet local investors. Feel free to connect any time if you have any questions. BP is a great place to really dive deep in knowledge. Good luck and looking forward to witnessing your success in RE!
