New Yorker investing in San Antonio Residential Investment

Hi BP Investors,

I am new to out of state investing but have identified the great city of San Antonio as my first market to delve into. We're in the process of closing in on a property and I'd like to use to LLC (as I am investing with another partner) to purchase and obtain a loan on the property. I have several questions on the process was hoping somebody would be willing to enlighten me.

Are banks willing to make a new to a newly formed LLC? If not, can I purchase in my name and then transfer it to the LLC? Again, I live in NY.

If anyone would be willing to connect and chat, I would be eternally grateful.

Thx.
