Question about phone number on business cards

I am going to attend my local REIA's next meeting and am going to make business cards. The one question I have about making the cards is what phone number should I put on them? My cell phone number or my Google Voice number, which is set up for leads and prospective sellers?

Nobody likes to be put on hold or wait after leaving a voicemail. Networking is an art. Put a phone number that you regularly pick up on your card and hand these out at the meeting when asked. Take the time to write notes on the back of each card you receive specific to that person.

When you get home that evening, email everyone you received a card from commenting on your conversation with him or her. Include a scanned or printed PDF of your business card in your email.

Everyone will appreciate the speed with which you responded. They will be impressed that you took the time to remember your personal conversation. And, since most throw business cards out, they will have a copy of yours if they at least keep their emails.

Scan or photograph the cards of anyone you even remotely think you might need and file them in your computer by name. Include the back containing your notes. We’ve had others photograph our card at the meeting when they meet us. There are a million apps that do this.

This is a person-to-person business so take networking seriously.

Jeff
