STR in Austin TX - Getting started

Raffi Mannarelli
Posted

Hey everyone!

I have reading and researching RE for about 8 months now and am ready to put the things ive learned to use and to start gaining experience. I am 24 and have about 90K to put towards a down payment on a home. I am currently eyeing Austin TX as a location to acquire a STR rental property. with the city growing and intercontinental tourists visiting year round I think STR is the only way to break into this hot and high priced market. Looking for advice or literally anything anyone has to say on this topic!

Thanks -

RM

Hey @Raffi Mannarelli! Exciting news and best of luck with the Austin market - it's hot!

I'm a lender in the area and would be happy to provide a free estimate or answer any questions you have about securing a loan to purchase your first investment property. I also have 2 rentals myself (one is a short term rental in AL and the other is long term in CO). Feel free to reach out!
