Being new to the real estate investing world, what are some key things to look out for when looking for a hard money lender?

Hi @Selena Matos,

1. Reputation. Have other real estate investors had a successful experience with this lender?

2. Terms. Understanding the interest rate, points, term length, leverage (LTC/LTV) that the lender offers, and if it's in-line with market terms.

3. Do they work with new investors? Some HMLs do, and some don't.

The above list is a good starting point.
