New to investing

I was a real estate broker but had to stop because of personal reasons. I had my own home base real estate business. I am now ready to get back into the real estate investing part. I ready do not want to work for a real estate company just buying and selling property. I would like to find out more about wholesaling. I have been out of re for about 8 years. things have changed a lot. Finances are low and so is credit, so where and how do I start. thanks for any information you made have.
