Hello all!

This is my first post on this forum. I am ready to take my analysis paralysis and turn it into making offers/ going to open houses. I am in the Greater Hartford area in CT. I will be using Bigger Pockets' resources to reach out to agents as well, but any tips/ advice in getting started would be appreciated! I have been running number with the calculators available through the given tools on Bigger Pockets, but I have been made aware by a couple of people I know that it is best to get pre-approved first before I start to look at properties, would this be beneficial to both mine and the future agent I work with?

Thank you!

You will remain in analysis paralysis until you start seeing, feeling, and smelling what the numbers look like in your market. It is good to get pre-approved first and then start looking, but you only find out what 200k or 500k is really like when you start going out and seeing properties. Most people in analysis paralysis are only there because all they do is analyze. It sounds like you've done the work to get started, now get out there and see some!
