Advice on AirBnB Investing

Hi, I'm Malayna. I'm hoping to get some transparent advice on what it's like to be a host for AirBnB. This would be my first real estate investment. I'm thinking about purchasing a condo in Oak Park, IL and becoming a host for it. I know the area well so I don't have doubts about it not getting any traction, but just curious to hear some thoughts on the idea. If you're an AirBnB host and don't mind sharing please let me know any pros and cons you've experienced financially and/or just being in the business

Thanks in advance!
