Payoff Student Loans or Invest?

Interested in hearing other perspectives on this topic, specifically from investors who may have decided to start investing before debt payoff.

My plan since covid has been to save as much as possible to go towards a lump sum payment when the COVID forbearance period is through. I currently have enough saved up to knock down half of my $19,000 in student loans.

I would love to get some feedback from other investors who may have dealt with this decision in the past!
