@Joe Funari definitely pros and cons to both. You got in the game earlier, but had some scaling restraints. I definitely think there’s a psychological benefit to becoming debt free that is hard to value. My biggest weakness is FOMO as I save up, and just don’t want to miss out on opportunities/connections until I am ultimately debt free. Appreciate you chiming in!

Interested in hearing other perspectives on this topic, specifically from investors who may have decided to start investing before debt payoff.

My plan since covid has been to save as much as possible to go towards a lump sum payment when the COVID forbearance period is through. I currently have enough saved up to knock down half of my $19,000 in student loans.

I would love to get some feedback from other investors who may have dealt with this decision in the past!

Hi all!

I'm a commercial real estate broker moving to Atlanta and I'm in search of a room share or 1 bedroom opportunity available. I know the podcasts talk about unique rental opportunities that some investors delve into so I'm hoping you all may have some leads! Looking to keep the monthly rent payment as low as possible ($450-$700) but definitely want a safe area. If you or someone you know has an opportunity please let me know!
